Newborn Care and CPR Saturday 12/30/17 9:30 AM -1 PM


Learn the ins and outs of newborn sleep, feeding, swaddling and diapering. This class summarizes common newborn issues including sleep patterns, rashes, feeding problems, signs of illness and much much more. This is an interactive class where parents will be able to learn how to carry, burp, soothe, swaddle and bathe newborns by practicing on life-like dolls. Parents will be able to learn infant CPR and choking rescue tactics and be able to practice and demonstrate using specialized CPR dolls. You will be prepared for virtually any newborn care situation at hand! This is a 4 hour course.

Directions: Paid parking is located in the building garage on weeknights however it is important to take your keys and ticket with you to class. On weekends this garage is not open. Street parking is available and the office is a 10 minute stroll from the Friendship Heights Metro stop.
