Courtney has spent the majority of her nursing career focusing on women’s health. She graduated from Bowie State University and has worked for & provided care at many DC area hospitals. Courtney went on to achieve her Master’s in Health Education and certification in Inpatient Obstetrics.
She has medical-surgical, telemetry, high risk perinatal, labor and postpartum experience. While working in outpatient care, she provided women prenatal care, assisted with wellness exams and served as a childbirth educator at Kaiser Permanente. As a Centering Pregnancy facilitator, she is passionate about empowering clients to make educated and informed decisions about their health.
She currently works in labor and delivery. Courtney is a loving mom to two children. In her spare time she loves to travel. Courtney loves teaching and supporting parents-to-be with their birth experiences.
