Course Policies & FAQs

Nested LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses that are below capacity to maintain course quality. Should this occur, you will be notified 3-5 business days in advance of the class.

When should I take the classes?

Classes sell out fast, so it’s important to register earlier in your pregnancy! We recommend taking the Breastfeeding Preparation class after 30 week so this information remains top of mind; the Childbirth Education (CBE) class on the earlier side (24-39 weeks); and the Newborn Care/CPR later in the pregnancy after 30 weeks – mainly because we review what happens after the baby is delivered and through the first few months. We find taking it closer to the due date helps keep this info “fresher” and top of mind.

Can I bring my partner to a class?

Yes, of course! Registration for ALL Nested classes (in-person and online) is for up to 2 people – yourself AND your partner, a grandparent or a friend.

Is there a wait list for in-person classes?

Yes! If you are interested in taking a class that is currently full, please send us a message here with your preferred class and your due date. We will keep you informed if anyone reschedules or cancels. We also offer private sessions for all of our classes to meet your scheduling needs! Click here for more information.

Does Nested accept health insurance?

Nested does not accept health insurance. However, if you have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or a Health Savings Account (HSA) you may be able to submit your Nested class payment receipt(s) for reimbursement (see below). Please contact your health insurance company / benefits administrator to confirm your benefits as well as to verify eligibility and learn what is needed for documentation and reimbursement. Additional information may be found on our Reimbursement Information page.

Can I submit the course fee for reimbursement if I have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)?

For FSA and HSA documentation, please refer to your class order confirmation receipt that is emailed to you when you registered for the class. This order confirmation has Nested’s LLC address, Tax ID information as well as the procedure and ICD-10 codes for you to submit to your FSA provider. Additional information may be found on our Reimbursement Information page. Please note that Nested does NOT accept FSA or HSA debit cards for payment.

Do you offer virtual online classes?

Yes! Nested started offering virtual online classes in early May 2020! Nested created professionally-produced HIPAA-compliant videos to provide you with a virtual online experience of our Nested Childbirth Education (CBE) and Newborn Care & Infant CPR (NB/CPR) bootcamp classes. By registering for a Nested virtual online course, you will receive one-month access to Nested’s Childbirth Education (CBE) course and/or the Newborn Care and Infant CPR (NB/CPR) course, the ability to participate in two LIVE virtual webcast Question & Answer (Q&A) discussions for the course with which you are registered, access to the course Resource Guide and additional information. Both videos have Nested’s Founder & Managing Director, Nidhi Reva, MPH PA-C, on camera as she walks the viewer through the presentation and useful videos that are used during our in-person classes as well as provides demonstrations that are practiced by class participants.

Please note that refunds are NOT available after purchasing membership access to Nested’s online courses. In addtion, coupon codes are not valid for use to purchase membership access.

When are the LIVE Q&A sessions for online course registrants?

The LIVE Q&A discussion sessions are only available to those who purchase access to the online classes. There will be at least one LIVE virtual Q&A discussion for each class every month and will be held either on a weekend afternoon or weeknight evening. Dates, times and links to access the LIVE Q&As are accesible after you have purchased access to the online class(es) and may be found on the online class page when you log-in to My Online Access.
