The health and safety of our clients, staff and volunteers is always our top priority, especially during this COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. Nested is SUSPENDING ALL of our IN-PERSON classes: 3/15/2020 through 5/10/2020.  Nested classes are going virtual! Details coming soon…

Course Policies & FAQs

When should I take the classes?

We recommend taking the Childbirth Education (CBE) class on the earlier side (24-39 weeks) and the Newborn Care/CPR later in the pregnancy after 30 weeks – mainly because we review what happens after the baby is delivered and through the first few months. We find taking it closer to the due date helps keep this info “fresher” and top of mind.

Can I bring my partner to class?

Yes, of course! The course price includes attendance for 2 people – yourself, your partner, a grandparent or a friend.

Can I reschedule a class?

Yes, if you need to reschedule and it is more than 7 days prior to a class please review our schedule for availability and contact us to let us know which class you would like to take instead. There will be a $50 rescheduling fee.

Can I cancel a class?

Yes, you may cancel your registration.

If you cancel your registration more than 7 days prior to the scheduled date of the class, you will be charged a $50 cancellation processing fee and be refunded the remainder amount of the class fee you paid (e.g., class fee was $285 – $50 cancel processing fee = refund of $235).

Should you need to cancel your registration less than 7 days prior to the class, you will not receive a refund, unless we can find another client to fill your spot. If we do find another client to fill your spot, you will be charged a $50 cancellation processing fee and be refunded the remainder amount of the class fee you paid (e.g., class fee was $285 – $50 cancel processing fee = refund of $235). Please note that we cannot guarantee being able to fill your spot.

Nested Addressing FLU / CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19): While Nested is suspending in-person classes, we are holding them as virtual dicussions as noted below. Should you prefer an in-person class instead of the virtual class, you will have the opportunity to reschedule for another available date once in-person classes resume. Please note that we cannot guarantee in-person classes will resume before your expected due date.  Nested’s cancellation and rescheduling fees will apply.

Do you offer virtual classes?

Nested classes are going virtual soon! Nested has created professionally-produced HIPAA-compliant videos to provide you with a virtual experience of our classes Nested Childbirth Education (CBE) and Newborn Care & Infant CPR (NB/CPR) bootcamp classes. Both videos have Nested’s Founder & Managing Director, Nidhi Reva, MPH PA-C, on camera as she walks the viewer through the presentation and useful videos that are used during our in-person classes as well as provides demonstrations that are practiced by class participants.

Nested recognizes that our virtual classes do not have the same hands-on demonstration experience that is obtained during an in-person class. As such, Nested will be hosting LIVE virtual webcast Question & Answer (Q&A) discussions via GoToMeeting. These will be held at least once a month for both the Childbirth Education (CBE) registrants and for the Newborn Care & Infant/CPR registrants.

We anticipate our virtual classes will be available by mid-April, if not sooner! Once they are available, Nested will post information about how to access the Nested virtual classes as well as the LIVE Q&A sessions on our website and through our social media accounts. If you are interested in receiving information about this, please email us with the subject line: “interest in video”.

Is there a wait list?

Yes! If you are interested in taking a class that is currently full, please send us a message here with your preferred class and your due date. We will keep you informed if anyone reschedules or cancels. We also offer private sessions for all of our classes to meet your scheduling needs! Click here for more information.

Can I submit the class fee for reimbursement if I have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA)?

For Flexible Spending Account documentation please refer to your class order confirmation receipt that is emailed to you when you registered for the class. This order confirmation has Nested’s LLC address, Tax ID information and the procedure & the ICD-10 codes for you to submit to your FSA provider. Additional information may be found on our Flex Spending Accounts page. Please note that Nested does NOT accept HSA/FSA debit cards for payment.

Nested LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses that are below capacity to maintain course quality. Should this occur, you will be notified 3-5 business days in advance of the class.
