Sebastian is a bilingual rising junior in Wakefield High School’s Spanish Immersion Program with an interest in healthcare, community service, and bridging language barriers.

Through Project Nido, he has taught dental hygiene to children in Spanish, assisted optometrists with vision screenings and glasses distribution, and served as a translator between American doctors and Ecuadorian patients during medical missions. These experiences strengthened his interest in healthcare accessibility and service.

Sebastian now serves as a Medical Mission Coordinator Intern for Project Nido, where he helps organize donation drives for hygiene kits and school supplies for the upcoming mission in Ecuador’s Chimborazo region. He coordinates outreach efforts, manages inventory, and works with local businesses and community members to support the mission.
