Nidhi Reva, a dedicated and board-certified Physician Assistant, is the visionary force behind Nested. In 2017, she founded Nested after returning home from a medical mission in Ecuador after a devastating earthquake with a heartfelt commitment to supporting the growth and well-being of families.
Her professional journey began at an Immigrant and Refugee clinic, where she wholeheartedly served those in need. Driven by her unwavering commitment to making a difference in women’s health, Nidhi later transitioned to work in obstetrics, gynecology, and health education. Through her career, she has touched countless lives, positively impacting the well-being of women and families.
Nidhi’s passion for working with underserved populations inspired Nested’s mission of empowerment through education. Drawing upon more than 20 years of medical experience, public health advocacy and motherhood affords Nidhi with a unique skill set to help educate and create positive change families and communities in the DC area and beyond. She is a steadfast advocate for promoting health and wellbeing of women and their growing families.
Prior to founding Nested LLC in 2017, she was a co-founder of Stork LLC Childbirth Education from 2015-2017. Working with Nested LLC allows for an opportunity to provide comprehensive, high quality childbirth & newborn care education, CPR certification instruction and help others who are underserved receive beneficial medical care. Nidhi volunteers overseas with PACH / Fibuspam Ecuador, through Nested’s Project Nido, treating mainly women and children in rural communities.
Nidhi is a recipient of the 2021 Arlington County COVID-19 Hero Award which aims to recognize Arlington’s community members, partners, providers, neighbors who have gone above and beyond to help keep their communities safe and supported throughout the pandemic.
After assisting during a medical emergency on an international flight in 2019 while traveling with her 2 pre-teen daughters, it became evident to Nidhi that families thrive best when their communities are equipped to provide the life saving skills of CPR. During that flight, a man traveling with his family had a cardiac emergency and Nidhi performed life-saving CPR until the flight safely landed and emergency personnel were able to continue his care. That event served as the impetus for Nidhi to become a certified American Red Cross Instructor and for Nested to provide CPR certification classes. Thus, Nested’s mission evolved beyond individual households to encompass the strength and interconnectedness of the communities we belong to. As such, Nested also provides crucial infant, child and adult CPR & first aid certifications to families, schools, organizations and community-led events, empowering those to handle emergency situations with confidence and proficiency.
Nidhi joined the team at Integrated Neurology Services in the fall of 2023 as the Director of Medical Wellness. She previously worked at Virginia Hospital Center (VCH) Physician Group’s OBGYN Practice for 2 years. Prior to that she spent 14 years at Dr. Reiter, Hill & Johnson, an Advantia Health LLC affiliate practice. She began her career working at an Immigrant and Refugee clinic, and a few years later she followed her passion to work in women’s health, including obstetrics, gynecology and health education. She has previously served as an adjunct professor as well as being a preceptor at the George Washington University Physician Assistant Program.
Nidhi graduated from Michigan State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. She holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Management from Emory University with an emphasis on underserved populations, and a Master of Medical Science at Emory University School of Medicine from its Physician Assistant Program.
Nidhi’s ultimate vision for Nested is to equip parents, coworkers, relatives and friends with the knowledge & tools to create the safest and healthiest nests for growing families and communities. Regardless of our geographical locations or available resources, the desire to create the best possible environment for our loved ones remains a universal aspiration. With her unwavering dedication, passion and commitment to making the world a better place, Nidhi continues to inspire and uplift those around her, leaving a lasting impact on the lives she touches.
