Course Policies & FAQs
Nested LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses that are below capacity to maintain course quality. Should this occur, you will be notified 3-5 business days in advance of the class.
Can I bring my partner to a Nested Class?
-
Registration & attendance for Nested’s Childbirth Education (CBE) and Newborn Care & Infant CPR certification (NBCPR) in-person and online VIDEO classes is for up to 2 people (1 ticket = 2 people) yourself AND your partner, a grandparent or a friend.
-
Registration & attendance for Nested’s CPR certification class and Comprehensive Babysitting with CPR certification class is for an individual (1 ticket = 1 person).
Is there a waitlist for IN-PERSON classes?
Yes! While we cannot guarantee a spot will become available, it does happen — and usually somewhat ‘last minute’ (within a few days prior to the class date). Please EMAIL US and be sure to specific in the subject line AND the body of the email both the class name & date.
In addition, we offer private classes! Please visit our PRIVATE CLASSES page for more info & to complete the request form, and we’ll get back to you soon.
When should I take the classes?
Classes sell out fast, so it’s important to register earlier in your pregnancy! We recommend taking our Childbirth Education (CBE) class on the earlier side (24-39 weeks); and our Newborn Care and Infant CPR certification (NBCPR) class later in the pregnancy after 30 weeks – mainly because we review what happens after the baby is delivered and through the first few months. We find taking it closer to the due date helps keep this info “fresher” and top of mind.
*As noted on this Course Policies & FAQ page, should Nested suspend in-person classes due to federal, state and/or local government restrictions & guidelines as well as including but not limited to CDC guidance and/or local case numbers, building / classroom space, Nested will notify registered clients that their class will be conducted as a LIVE Virtual interactive class at the same date & time as the originally scheduled class, and will be provided with an access link.
Do you offer online VIDEO classes?
Yes! Nested started offering our online VIDEO classes in early May 2020. Nested created professionally-produced, HIPAA-compliant videos with Closed Captioning (CC) to provide you with an online video experience of our Nested Childbirth Education (CBE) and Newborn Care & Infant CPR education (NB/CPR) bootcamp classes. Both videos have Nested’s Founder & Managing Director, Nidhi Reva, MPH PA-C, on camera as she walks the viewer through the course presentation & useful videos that are also used during our in-person classes. The content of each video class is the SAME as our in-person class content.
By registering for a Nested online VIDEO class, you will receive 1-month access to Nested’s Childbirth Education (CBE) course and/or the Newborn Care and Infant CPR (NB/CPR) course, access to the course Resource Guide, and a private 30-minute phone call / virtual Q&A with Nidhi Reva (should you send us a request to schedule the Q&A after you have watched the video), and additional information. NOTE: 1-month access begins on the date of purchase.
Please note that refunds are NOT available after purchasing membership access to Nested’s online VIDEO classes. In addition, coupon codes are NOT valid for use to purchase membership access.
Can I CANCEL an online VIDEO class membership access?
As stated above and on both the Childbirth Education and the Newborn Care & Infant CPR online VIDEO class pages, please note that refunds are not available after purchasing membership access to Nested’s online VIDEO classes.
Nested’s cancellation and rescheduling fees are due to the associated costs of classroom space and American Red Cross fees, payment processing bank fees and other fixed business expenses. As a small business we aim to support our Nested community and provide you with childbirth preparation, newborn care and CPR education.
Can I receive the coupon discount after a purchase is made if I forgot to include it at checkout?
No. All discount coupons are only valid and usable at the time of purchasing your class registration(s) and must be added to your cart at checkout prior to payment.
Can I submit the course fee for reimbursement if I have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)?

This order confirmation has Nested’s LLC address, Tax ID information (EIN) as well as the procedure and ICD-10 codes for you to submit to your FSA provider.
