Ana Krishnan, MD, MPH, FAAP graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology. After college she did research at the National Institutes of Child Health and Development and completed a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, with a focus on population health. She received her M.D. from the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine in 2005 and completed her residency in Pediatrics at Inova Children’s Hospital in 2008. Read more.

Dr. Krishnan currently works as a Newborn Hospitalist at Inova Children’s Hospital and loves teaching and working with parents while caring for their newborns. She also enjoys teaching medical students and residents in the nursery.

Dr. Krishnan is passionate about supporting and caring for families as a whole, especially during the crucial transition period after having a newborn. She is dedicated to working on health, nutrition, and wellness for mothers and babies. She offers her services at a concierge healthcare fourth trimester practice.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two children, reading, working out, and cooking.
