Our Team

All of Nested’s classes are taught by licensed, practicing medical healthcare providers, who adhere to a team-based approach. Our Instructors consist of physicians, nurses, midwives, physician assistants (PA-C), nurse practitioners (NP), and a physical therapist, all of whom are medical experts in the field of maternal and newborn health. Courtney has spent the majority of her nursing career focusing on women’s health. She graduated from Bowie State University and has worked for & provided care at many DC area hospitals. Courtney went on to achieve her Master’s in Health Education and certification in Inpatient Obstetrics. Read more.

Ana Krishnan, MD, MPH, FAAP

Dr Ana Krishnan, MD, MPH, FAAP graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology. After college she did research at the National Institutes of Child Health and Development and completed a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, with a focus on population health. Lindsey Daggle, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatric hospitalist at Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, her Medical Degree from Georgetown University and completed her Pediatric Residency at Lurie Children’s and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Ketema obtained her undergraduate degree from Columbia University in 2002. After college, she taught high school biology in Ethiopia and then returned to New York City to research the effects of trauma and PTSD in law enforcement personnel after 9/11. Read more.
