Nidhi Reva, MPH PA-C
Founder & Managing Director, and Instructor, FA/CPR/AED Instructor
Nidhi Reva's passion for working with underserved populations inspired Nested's mission of empowerment through education. Drawing upon more than 20 years of medical experience, public health advocacy and motherhood affords Nidhi with a unique skill set to help educate families in the DC area and beyond.
Prior to founding Nested LLC in 2017, she was a co-founder of Stork LLC Childbirth Education from 2015-2017. Working with Nested LLC allows for an opportunity to provide comprehensive, high quality childbirth and newborn care education, and help others who are underserved receive beneficial medical care. Nidhi volunteers overseas with PACH / Fibuspam Ecuador, through Project Nido, treating mainly women and children in rural communities.
She is a recipient of the 2021 Arlington County COVID-19 Hero Award which aims to recognize Arlington’s community members, partners, providers, neighbors who have gone above and beyond to help keep their communities safe and supported throughout the pandemic.
Nidhi joined the Virginia Hospital Center (VCH) Physician Group’s OBGYN Practice in 2021. Prior to that she spent 14 years at Dr. Reiter, Hill & Johnson, an Advantia Health LLC affiliate practice. She began her career working at an Immigrant and Refugee clinic, and a few years later she followed her passion to work in women’s health, including obstetrics, gynecology and health education. Nidhi has been in private practice since 2008. She has served as an adjunct professor as well as being a preceptor at the George Washington University Physician Assistant Program.
Nidhi graduated from Michigan State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. In 2001, she completed her Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Management from Emory University with an emphasis on underserved populations. In 2003, Nidhi received her Master of Medical Science at Emory University School of Medicine from their Physician Assistant Program.
Nidhi has two daughters and loves going on walks, spending time with friends and enjoys painting.
Business Operations & Management Consultant
Amy Goldman provides business operations & management support services for Nested through her company, Allera Strategies. Prior to founding Allera Strategies in 2015, Amy spent more than a decade as an EVP & Environmental Sustainability Strategist to multinational corporations from various industry sectors and environmental sustainability & social impact organizations at a Washington, DC public affairs firm. She then served as the Director of the Executive Office at Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization
Amy’s academic and professional experiences have always been driven by her dedication and commitment to cause-oriented, environmental sustainability, social impact and women’s health issues. She received a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs, Environmental Science and Management from Indiana University (Bloomington, IN).
Amy’s ambition to facilitate businesses to broaden their impact is palpable; she is a valued member of the Nested team. She is delighted to help achieve our mission of empowering women & their families with invaluable medical and public health resources and education. Amy loves swimming, hiking, reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Pemyang serves as Nested’s Finance Manager and maintains our finances and payroll. She loves working for an organization that gives back to those in need amongst the communities we serve both here and abroad.
Originally from Nepal, Pemyang has lived in the states for more than 10 years. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Information Technology from George Mason University. She currently works as an accountant at HITT, and previously worked as a pricing analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Pemyang went on her first medical mission trip, Project Nido 2019, where she helped Ecuadorian families learn about dental health, conducted vision screenings and distributed free reading and sunglasses to those in need.
In her free time, Pemyang loves to volunteer at Nepali Pathshala of Virginia and enjoys traveling. Her most recent travel excursions included Iceland and a road trip to Utah, Nevada and Arizona and is looking forward to Project Nido 2022!
Migma Yolmo Tamang
IT Technical and Administrative Manager, FA/CPR/AED Instructor
Migma provides technical, administrative, FA/CPR/AED and class instructional assistance and on-site class support ensuring all of Nested’s in-person and virtual classes run smoothly and efficiently.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Biomechanics & Human Anatomy at George Mason University. He is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (ACSM-CPT) and is currently a Physical Therapy Tech & Rehab Specialist who specializes in weight loss and muscle strengthening. Migma has worked with hundreds of prenatal and postnatal women to address pelvic floor health, low back pain and muscles weakness issues. Through his company, MyKineFitness, Migma provides both virtual and in-person personal training for general fitness, geriatric fitness, prenatal fitness and postnatal fitness.
He has a deep passion for helping people, from helping patients recover from an injury to getting them back into their optimum health. His mission is to assist his clients in reaching their fitness and health goals.
Migma was part of Nested’s team for Project Nido 2019 where he shared his physical therapy expertise to assist many of the patients experiencing back pain, knee pain and bad posture.
