Founder & Managing Director and Instructor
Nidhi Reva passion for working with underserved populations inspired Nested's mission of empowerment through education. Nidhi graduated from Michigan State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. She completed her Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Management from Emory University with an emphasis on underserved populations in 2001. Nidhi graduated with her Master of Medical Science at Emory University School of Medicine from their Physician Assistant Program in 2003 and started her career working at an Immigrant and Refugee clinic. Since then Nidhi is an adjunct professor at the George Washington University Physician Assistant Program and on faculty at Emory University. She has been in private practice at Drs. Reiter, Hill, Johnson & Nevin since 2008. During this time Nidhi works annually with Emory's Migrant Farmworker Project in South Georgia helping students care for farmers and their families. With her interest working with the underserved, Nidhi volunteers oversees with Fibuspam Ecuador treating mainly women and children in rural communities. She was a cofounder of Stork LLC Childbirth Education from 2015-2017 prior to founding Nested LLC. Working with Nested LLC allows for an opportunity to provide high quality childbirth education while helping others who are underserved receive beneficial medical care. Nidhi has two daughters, Seva and Leela, who keep her busy with fun art and cooking projects!
Pemyang serves as Nested’s Finance Manager. She loves working for an organization that gives back to those in need amongst the communities we serve both here and abroad. Originally from Nepal, Pemyang has lived in the states for more than 10 years. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Information Technology from George Mason University. She currently works as an accountant at HITT, and previously worked as a pricing analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton.
As our finance manager, she sets up classes, maintains our finances and payroll, as well as making sure Nested, LLC is running as smoothly and efficiently.
Pemyang recently went on her first medical mission trip, Project Nido 2019, where she helped Ecuadorian families learn about dental health, conducted vision screenings and distributed free reading and sunglasses to those in need.
In her free time, Pemyang loves to volunteer at Nepali Pathshala of Virginia and enjoys traveling. Her most recent travel excursions included Iceland and a road trip to Utah, Nevada and Arizona and is looking forward to Project Nido 2020!
Business Operations & Management Consultant
Amy Goldman provides business operations & management support services for Nested through her company, Allera Strategies. Prior to founding Allera Strategies, Amy spent 14 years as an EVP & Environmental Sustainability Strategist at a Washington, DC public affairs firm. She then served as the Director of the Executive Office at Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization.
Amy’s academic and professional experiences have always been driven by her commitment to cause-oriented work and by her dedication to social impact and environmental sustainability issues. She received a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs, Environmental Science and Management from Indiana University (Bloomington, IN).
Amy’s ambition to facilitate businesses to broaden their impact is palpable; she is a valued member of the Nested team. She is delighted to help achieve our mission of empowering women & their families with invaluable medical and public health resources and education. Amy loves swimming, hiking, reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Philanthropic & Marketing Coordinator
Nicole is excited to join the Nested family as a philanthropic and marketing coordinator. She has six years of experience in the Ob/Gyn field as a medical assistant. Her trip to Ecuador as part of a medical mission brigade inspires her both professionally and personally. It also motivated her to brush up on her Spanish! Nicole double majored in Spanish and Anthropology at the University of Virginia. In her free time Nicole loves to travel with her friends. A few of their recent adventures include a spooky ghost tour of New Orleans, zip-lining from treetops in Raleigh and skydiving next to the ocean!
