Instructor

Renie has dedicated more than 13 years of nursing experience to women’s health and obstetrics. Renie graduated from Northern Virginia Community College and later received both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing.

Much like Renie’s experience in women’s health, her career spans across many local hospitals in both Washington DC and Northern Virginia. Renie has work experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), high risk Labor and Deliver (L&D) Postpartum, fertility nursing, managerial experience, as well as experience in the U.S. Army Reserve Nurse Corp.

Renie is dedicated to making sure that her patients (and now the families of Nested) are educated in what to expect during the L&D experience, newborn care and has a sense of awareness of what to expect from their new journey and health along the pregnancy spectrum. Renie currently works in obstetrics as a Clinical Specialist in a local hospital, where she actively works to ensure nurses in this field are aware of best practice, nursing standards and providing quality nursing care.

In her spare time, Renie loves to read, listen to music, travel and spend time with her family (to include her pet Bichon Poodle (poochon/bichpoo) Pennie-Rena).
